Legislative Update

Here's a bill to watch in the future.  It has passed the Senate, however, it doesn't look like it will be heard in the House at this time.  

SB 212 Public library matters. (Authors:Gard, Lanane, Austin)

It's also called the Cleanup Bill for libraries.

It addresses library board terms, the issuance of library cards to certain nonresidents of a library district, Class 1 or 2 public libraries using a third party for collections, and more.
